All alone....

So, Chris left me... Not for forever but for the weekend. Our sister-in-law Jess is getting baptized today (hoorah!) and Jess and Peggy thought it would be nice for Chris and I to be there. Unfortunately I get irratable when I don't sleep, and emotionally unstable so I would cry lots since we would only be able to go for such a short time! So I didn't go. I also have to work today, which is where I am at right now! I couldn't ask anyone else to fill in for me because by the time we learned about it, it would have been really last minute to ask someone. So I stayed home.

We both worked yesterday and then went to the library to pick up my books, got some pizza and watched a movie. Then Chris packed and then off to Denver to drop him off at the airport! His plane didn't leave until 1:15 this morning but since I am pregnant and like my sleep and had to work today we left a little earlier than we needed. At 8:30 to be specific. It takes an hour and a half to get to the airport so we got there at 10 and then I had to drive all by myself the whole way home. I was so tired and my eyes were all crazy like! I haven't had that blurry vision in a long time, unless I take my glasses off... Anyway, I finally got home safe and sound and soooo tired so I went straight to bed! But I couldn't sleep! I know it sounds silly but this is the first time that Chris and I have been apart at night and I am so used to him being there that I kept waking up and he wasn't there! I woke up a lot! I missed him a lot...

So now I get to look forward to an empty house when I go home tonight. My neighbors are all busy and so I don't get much human interaction today. I also get to plan out the primary lesson for tomorrow. I usually do that on Fridays and Saturdays at work but tomorrow I get to teach it all by myself. I think it will be somewhat difficult because Chris is so good at taking over when I run out of things to say. Not to mention we might have all 5 little boys and 1 little girl. The funny thing is that the girl is probably the most difficult. She doesn't understand ownership... She frequently comes up to the table during the lesson and takes my stuff and goes and sits back down... odd girl. Anyway, I am teaching about water and how Heavenly Father made it for us. I am trying to think of fun things to do with the kids that will take up lots of time but coming up with a lack. If anyone has any ideas BEFORE tomorrow, I would love to hear them!

Anyway, the point of this blog is to express the fact that I am alone and I wish Chris were home with me because I sleep better at night when he is.

Valentines and my belly

Hi! I have been really lazy lately and haven't posted anything but now I will! Also, I don't really like to post just my ramblings online, I like to have pictures so you all can see what I have done and now I have pictures! Speaking of pictures, Jennifer told me about www2.snapfish.com, which is something that Curtis uses. I don't usually have a car and so I never want to send any pictures to Walmart to get them developed because who knows when I would finally pick them up! So I looked up this snapfish this morning and uploaded some pictures and they are going to be sent to me! It is awesome! Rather than having to pick them up at the store I just get them in my mail box! Curtis, you are amazing for finding this! If you read this at all... Anyway!

So, if you recall, I got my hair cut quite some time ago. Like a month or so... I can't remember. I finally remembered when I was having a good hair day to get some pictures. I have also had a request to post a picture of my growing belly. I figure I am finally to the point of showing so I will take a picture every week. That way I can have some memory of this pregnancy...

Isn't my hair nice? I like the face I made so I chose this picture to post! It was a good hair day. I know the closet in the background kinda makes it hard to see half of my hair but you get the picture. It looks nice and I love having short hair! Long hair is just too much of a hassle...

In case you are wondering, and you probably aren't, I have only gained like 22 pounds so far. According to my books that is right about where I should be for weight gain so far. I really thought I would gain a lot of weight but I haven't! It makes me happy because I am affraid that once gained, it wouldn't ever come off!

This was on Valentines Day. Don't I look festive? I had to work Saturday and it was a long and boring day. Then Chris picked me up from work and we went out to eat to celebrate the holiday. We went to Pizza Hut! The reason we went there was that every place we would have gone that was a bit nicer was packed. Texas Roadhouse (Chris really likes it there) was a two and a half hour wait. I said no way so we left and were just going to come home when I saw Pizza Hut and we both like it there and I have been wanting a pizza so we went! It was nice because there was hardly anyone there and the waitress was awesome and the food was tasty and I think it made it a nice evening out. 

When we got home I gave Chris a Valentines present. I usually wouldn't do this but on Monday when I had a doctors appt I went to Ross afterwards and found a ballroom dancing book and DVD and thought they would be nice to have. We have tried a few times to dance again like we used to but we just can't remember any of the footing or the moves in general so we kinda gave up... which is really sad because I like to dance. So I got it and maybe this week if I am lucky he will take me dancing! 

Other than that stuff, not much has been going on in our lives. We watch Lost, we are in the second season. Chris never saw it and since I like to watch it he started to watch it so we could bond. He is good about stuff like that. Like reading books that I really like so that we can talk about them if I want to. Its cute! We have been getting a lot of free baby stuff and maybe in my next post I will show you what I have gotten so far! I need to finish but I hope you are all doing well!
